Roula Salamoun is an architect, founder of a multidisciplinary studio where she marries her architectural sensibilities with an intuitive, hands-on approach to design. Her practice rigorously experiments with materiality and form to mold objects and spaces that elicit dialogues through the senses. Earning her Bachelor of Architecture with distinction with a minor in Studio Arts from the American University of Beirut,

Roula continued to pursue her graduate research at Columbia University in New York, where she was awarded the William Kinne fellowship. Roula’s work has been published in prominent publications, amongst which Domus magazine highlighted her as a designer to watch. Her work has been presented at international events, such as Downtown Design Dubai, Nomad St Moritz, London Art Week, and by Galerie Gosserez at PAD Paris & London.

Since establishing her studio in 2017, Roula has been nominated for numerous awards such as “Emerging Designer of the year 2022” by AD Middle East as her studio continues to explore output across the fields of design, art installations, interiors, and architecture.
