Celestial Disorder

$12,516.00 USD
Celestial Disorder draws on the idea of a universe in which seemingly scattered elements find their own harmony.
Handcrafted in cast aluminium, its irregular, textured frame is punctuated by solid marble spheres of varying sizes. Each sphere is individually sculpted, revealing the stone’s natural colour and veining. These markings make every sphere distinct, bringing together different fragments of nature within one composition.
Arranged freely across the frame, the spheres resemble small planets following an unfamiliar constellation. Their placement gives the piece its particular balance: asymmetrical, instinctive and carefully considered. The texture of the aluminium contrasts with the smooth marble, giving the mirror a sculptural presence.
Reflection completes the work. The person standing before it becomes part of this imagined universe, alongside the light and space around them. While the frame and spheres remain fixed, the world within them continually changes.
Celestial Disorder is an expression of freedom, individuality and the unexpected beauty of elements coming together. It invites us to find harmony where none was planned.
