As a noted photographer and award-winning haute jewellery designer, Beirut-born and Dubai-dwelling Nadine Kanso is modern Arabia’s creative ambassador to the world. Be it her calligraphy inspired precious adornments or gritty artworks depicting contemporary Middle Eastern life, her message remains constant.

Nadine’s background – she gained two degrees from the Lebanese American University - Communication Arts and Advertising Design – and an appreciation graphic design, typography and fashion laid the foundation for her work in design and photography today. Having worked in various design-related fields along with several stints in journalism, relocating to Dubai prompted her to dedicate her time to photography. Her perspective was soon coveted for its contemporary view on Arab life and culture.
In 2006, she was invited to participate in the ‘Friday Night at the V&A’ programme at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Arabise Me. In a post 9/11 world, the theme fit like it was meant to be.
