Alia Derouiche Cherif, a visual artist born in 1969 and grew up in Tunis. In 1991, she obtained a master's degree in interior design and in 1997 a doctorate in science techniques in arts at the University ITAAUT. She has been teaching fashion design for over 20 years.

She has participated in various group exhibitions in Tunisia: Bardo museum, Alain Nadaud gallery, Musk and Amber gallery, Elbirou gallery, effesto gallery, Le Cap gallery, city of culture of Tunisia. She has also organised a personal exhibition at Musk and Amber Gallery in September 2018, September 2019, and October 2021 in Tunisia.
