The Checkmate Bliss jacket is a hand-crafted timeless piece composed of a stunning patchwork design made from unique cowhide leather. Each stitch is meticulously done by hand, with different types of leather in various shades of white. Made with love, taking a total of 120 hours to be carefully crafted with precision and care. Designed with an intentionally oversized, boxy silhouette. Due to the raw and nature of cowhide leather, no two jackets are exactly alike. Variations in texture, print, and finish are to be expected. Natural markings and subtle imperfections are inherent characteristics of the material, making each jacket truly one of one.

Mallakä is a fashion brand founded by Libyan-born designer Malak Jaouda, currently based in Egypt. Shaped by growing up between cultures, her work reflects a strong sense ofobservation,
individuality, and emotional connection to clothing. Without formal training in fashion, she developed her design language instinctively // guided by curiosity, lived experiences, and a constant openness to inspiration found in everyday details, textures, and environments.
