Amolune Fine Jewelry [pronounced a-mo-lune] is a Fine Jewelry label founded by Laila Shaheen in 2022.

Born in Dubai and raised across the Middle East,
Europe, North America, and Africa, Laila’s life has been a tapestry of diverse cultural experiences. As a Palestinian, her deep connection to her heritage has always been at the heart of her work. She spent her childhood visiting her grandparents in Gaza and Jerusalem every summer,
absorbing the beauty and history of her homeland up until the second intifada in 2000. The impact of the occupation left an indelible mark on Laila, shaping her worldview and artistic vision.

Inspired by her mother’s love for fine jewelry—and the stories behind each cherished piece—Laila began exploring design as a form of storytelling and a means of expressing the many facets of her Arab culture and
Palestinian identity. After obtaining her BFA in Graphic Design in 2010 and working in fashion for over a decade, she channeled her passion into creating Amolune Fine Jewelry — a brand which she launched late 2022. The brand embodies her desire to merge contemporary aesthetics with the rich cultural heritage of her roots.

The designs for Amolune Fine Jewelry are a reflection of Laila’s journey of self-discovery. After being away from her homeland for 22 years, she turned to yoga and meditation in early 2022 and started to understand the effects of generational trauma on the nervous system. These personal explorations have also influenced her designs, resulting in pieces that are not only visually beautiful but deeply symbolic.

Each collection at Amolune Fine Jewelry tells a story—of heritage, resilience, and the beauty found in transformation. Laila Shaheen’s vision is to create timeless jewelry that connects people to their history and culture in a modern, meaningful way.
